Linux Permissions

Below is my quick summary of linux permissions.

PERMISSIONS:

General:

Owner Group Other
rwx rwx rwx
421 421 421

Set User, Set Group ID, Sticky Bit:

4000 Set-user-ID-on-execution (looks like: rws------)
(file will be executed with owner perms - usually root - by all users)

2000 Set-group-ID-on-execution (looks like: ---rws---)
(any file created in the dir will be owned by that dir's group)

1000 Sticky Bit (looks like: ------rwt OR ------rwT if no execute for "other")
(only the owner of the file can remove it)
